Instant UPC Codes

Instant UPC Codes (at domain instantupccodes.com) is a company worth watching out for. We have received various reports and complaints about dishonest behaviour on their part.

The Issues:

• We have received reports that they have been selling ’85’ UPC barcode numbers. These barcodes are from GS1 US, and do not (nor have they ever) belonged to Instant UPC. It is highly unlikely that they could legally distribute these numbers.
• They have been convicted of price collusion with ‘Nationwide Barcode’. This shows that they are willing to operate outside the law if it will benefit them.
• Price. They are incredibly cheap – There is no way that they can be selling legitimate barcodes at the prices they claim. Indeed, those barcodes cannot be trusted for use on products.
• They claim to have sold hundreds of millions of Barcodes for Amazon since 2016. This is at least 10 Barcodes for every single product on Amazon.
• They claim their barcodes can be used on Walmart Marketplace. This is not the case.
