They sell barcode packages at 2.99 euro, amd we’ve had multiple customers attempting to register these barcodes for our $20 registration fee, so the customers likely smell a rat.
They provide no information about themselves and are only contactable by email.
They seem to sell numbers with a 742 prefix (e.g. 7427115990744),
These are allocated for GS1 sale in Honduras, and cannot be legally sold by any barcode reseller (barcode resellers can only deal in US-prefix barcodes, because GS1’s precursor (the UCC) sold millions of these to US barcode-traders).
They also seem to purport (via images on their website) that their barcodes will be accepted by Walmart , this is not the case. Walmart requires membership of GS1 .
