EANcodes.eu with sites in Europe, is a SCAM. We have detailed the websites we know of that are run by them at the bottom of this page.

The Issues:

These websites are selling illegal numbers
The websites make inaccurate claims eg
- ‘Oficial Resllers’ = untrue – they are NOT official resellers
- #1 EANcode provider in Europe = untrue – GS1 is actually the largest (& very expensive) EAN code provider in Europe
- “With over 5000 customers we are one of the largest eancode providers around the globe” = this is untrue – we know of other barcode sellers in Europe that have 10x as many customers
They sell madeup numbers – the sample images on their websites either start with 501 (these numbers are owned by GS1-UK) or 999 (these are coupon identifiers, not EAN barcodes) or sometimes 20 (allocated “to issue GS1 restricted circulation number within a geographic region”)
There are no contact details on their websites – this is always very dangerous. They seem to all be linked to Eancodes V.O.F. – possibly based in the Netherlands.
