Codici Rapidi is an Italian barcodes website located at codicirapidi.com. They have a variety of misleading information on their website and more than a few warning signs. These are listed below

Issues:

• They say that your barcodes will be accepted everywhere. This isn’t true, and it is easy to know that this isn’t the case. Stores like Walmart and Sam’s club won’t accept these barcodes, so this information is blatantly misleading.
• They pretend that your information will be listed on the Gepir.org database. This is a database controlled by GS1. They do not update this database for this type of barcode and refuse to do so. Again this is misleading.
• Difficult to contact. They only have a contact form available on their website, which can be easily ignored at their will.
• The images on their website begin with ’50’. This is the UK country code, which can only be supplied legally by GS1 UK. It is unclear whether they are merely purporting to provide these, or whether they are illegally supplying these to individuals.
